Vladimir Suchanek is a Czech painter and graphic artist, he belongs to the European and world leaders in color lithography. The current offer includes new and older graphics.

(*1933, Nové Město nad Metují - †2021, Prague, CZ) Czech visual artist. Vladimír Suchánek graduated at The Academy of Art in Prague in 1960, prof. Vladimir Silikovsky. Together with Vladimir Gazovic, he was listed among the European and World color litography graphic artists in the 70´and 80´. His works are represented in the collections of the National Gallery in Prague, the Albertina in Vienna, the Rockford Art Museum in the USA, and in many other public and private collections in the Czech Republic and abroad. In 1995-2015 he was President of the Hollar Society, the leading Czech graphic art organisation. In 1997, Vladimír Suchánek was appointed a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, based in Vienna. In 2006, he was awarded a state decoration – a Medal for service to art. Suchánek specialised in graphic arts, painting, book illustrations, stamp designs and bookplates.
