The exhibition entitled "Side Effects" comes on the occasion of the author's jubilee and records in part the artist's development but above all the diversity of the author's work. And it is very difficult to cram it into large spaces. Theater and film scenography, painting, illustrations, graphics, drawings, sculptures and various other creations that far exceed the scope of the painting canvas or our common perception of the world around us. Many of the author's works are based on observations and sketches, which he often records in various sketchbooks. The sketchbooks themselves thus become works of art full of creativity, drawings, excerpts from conversations and spontaneous ideas. The world of Fero Lipták is not limited, and certainly not with a straight line. Every object can become artistic and every situation, even a completely banal one, can become an inspiration. Entering the author's world means getting rid of any prejudices, not keeping track of time and perceiving life with open eyes and a playful attitude that will turn even serious situations into smiling events.

An important part of the author's work is the well-known eyed man, who finds himself in various situations and whose extraordinary stories are pointed out by the names of the works in the form of word toys. Invented countries with flying stumps or various hills and rocks from other worlds are also relatively common motifs. The exhibition also points to the development of the author's color scale, which goes from the classic autumn coloration, through the rich and strong colors of large-format works to the latest black and white variations, which despite the "colorlessness" attract the viewer with new details and so called new artistis language. The exhibition as a whole is therefore as diverse as the author's work. However, each work bears the imprint of its author and thanks to it, the work of Fero Lipták creates an oasis in which one finds pleasure, good mood, maybe even some inspiration and especially ease of being ...
