More information on www.melitagwerkova.sk

In her performance, Melita Gwerková prefers fragile dream poetics of experiences and memories. Thanks to her introverted disposition, the author perceives a picture first of all as a piece of her world, a means for communication with both herself and the surroundings. A picture is activated on a canvas intensively and urgently in an inextinguishable desire to tell what has to be told by the painter. The author´s remarkable work with colours is outstanding in connection with a discriminating painting culture. Melita Gwerková has a feeling for colour mass, she will surprise by an eruption of colours or by altering of fine glazing.
