About the author: Igor Piačka was born in 1962 in Třebíč (CZ). From 1983 to 1989 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava, Department of free graphic and illustration under prof. Albin Brunovsky. For 13 years he has been teaching at the Academy in Bratislava, where he led a course of figural drawing. Number of exhibitions around the world, as well as domestic and foreign awards. He focuses on painting, drawing, free graphics, ex libris, illustrations and design of postage stamps.
