(*1982, Liberec, CZ) He has been working on graphics since elementary school. He graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of South Bohemia, majoring in art education. In 2005, he received the first prize in the student category at XI. Triennial of Czech exlibris in Chrudim. In the same year, he also became a member of the Association of Exlibris Collectors and Friends.

In his work, Karel Musil mainly focuses on figurative themes. He has developed a distinctive style, which is characterized by fine, precise drawing. His graphic work is characterized by lightness and airiness. Already as a student, he discovered the dry needle technique, which he perfected over the years and became the basis of his current work. He created more than two hundred exlibris for domestic and foreign collectors, which he enriched with free graphics. Karel Musil prints most of the graphic sheets himself in order to achieve velvety smoothness and sensitive colors. The spatial division of the area, the play of light and the author's storytelling talent are very interesting. Karel Musil is currently working on an extensive series of 100 figures of European culture. In addition to graphics, he also dedicates himslef to painting and drawing.
